About Dalvina Winery

Dalvina is a relatively young and prospering winery with a storage capacity of 60.000Hl, surrounded by 800 hectares of vineyards. With every step of the winemaking process, Dalvina apply the gentlest state-of-the-art technology, beginning with the collection of the grapes up to the process of fermentation, aiming to create a high standard product based not entirely on method, but passion.

As winemakers, Dalvina strive to capture the unique properties of the grapes, the soil and microclimates of the area - and forge them into liquid art.

Where are they from?

Dalvina vineyards and winery are located in the valley of the Struma and Strumeshnica rivers, in the Strumica-Radovish wine region of south-eastern Macedonia. At an altitude of 380m, surrounded by towering mountains, a Mediterranean climate envelops the vineyards blanketed by a cool breeze throughout the nights.

The air temperature during the period of vegetation averages at 20.2°C, and there are about 210 sunny days per year. With a multitude of sunny days, little rain, and a relatively low atmospheric humidity – healthy grapes are a main characteristic of our region.

Dalvina wines

Legends speak of the origins of Dionysus - God of the wines, and it is said his greatest wine cellars are located the valley of Strumica. The same God we celebrate today as St. Triphun on the 14th of February. Тhe archeological excavations in this area brought out an ancient knowledge of masterful winemaking that originates from the ages of ancient Macedonia. Using the latest technology, we have captured the traditional skill in the taste and established character of our wines.

Each of our wines is rich in flavor, powerful, expressively tropical, clear, vividly fruity, with great intensity: spicy, buttery, with individual character, and can be drunk young or aged, as time is a factor that separates their developed complexity.
